Proposed Student Senate amendment passes
Sunday's Student Congress meeting started with a vote on the Student Senate proposal, approving the new legislative body with more than a two-thirds majority.

Faculty weigh course load changes
With classes, homework and extracurricular activities, many DePauw students can occasionally get overwhelmed by everything on their plates. According to President Brian Casey, students aren't the only ones with a "sense of overload."

Fulbright advising program fosters high student application numbers
DePauw is among the nation's top Fulbright-producing schools, sending three students abroad to study and teach for each of the past two years.
According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, DePauw ranked in the top 50 bachelor's institutions both of those years.…

Monon Bell weekend arrests drop
There's one major perk to having Monon hosted by Wabash: less people were arrested during this year's Monon weekend than last year.
In 2007, four nonstudents and one student were arrested on DePauw's campus, and this year two nonstudents and one student were arrested here - no DePauw students or guests were arrested at Wabash College.…
