Bob Steele named new director of Prindle Institute

Steele will take over director duties January 1; Bottoms will move into senior fellow role until June 30

Last spring, Bob Steele and his wife, Carol, had a "wonderful" time debating ethics over brunch with Janet Prindle. The professor, the associate dean and the ethics institute's namesake casually traded notes on journalistic and business ethics. Senate discusses firepit's promise


Student senators are fired up. Members of Student Senate spent much of Sunday night's meeting discussing the newly installed firepit outside of East College. The group primarily began to think of ways to publicize it. Student Body President Nikki Craker said it is necessary to find a way to market the firepit to students.… Post the First Comment

Winter Term program sees few changes for this January


Despite a host of changes to campus this fall, including the addition of a chalkboard and Adirondack chairs to the lawn of East College, one thing is staying the same - Winter Term. This January, approximately 401 students will embark on faculty-led trips, 115 will conduct independent studies, 192 will complete internships, seven will study at another school and 800-900 will take on-campus courses.… Post the First Comment
