He appears to be a perfect fit for the position, considering his extensive admissions experience at St. Mary's College. Ever since the record-breaking earthquake on January 12, Haiti has been a sight of internatonal attention. DePauw students arenow planning to contribute to relief efforts. Over Winter Term President Brian Casey sent out a schoolwide e-mail addressing the current situation in Haiti and how DePauw plans to help, asking students to go to the DePauw homepage and click on the "Help Haiti" link.… Post the First Comment

DePauw University has set a new milestone: more people are applying to DePauw than in any past year. As of noon Thursday, the office had received a record 5,096 total applications. Although the total includes both completed and incomplete applications, the numbers indicate that a record pool of applicants is all but a foregone conclusion.… Post the First Comment

Students at Ridpath Elementary School are receiving inspiration to stay in school through creative, yet untraditional means. DePauw students in the Honor Scholar Program provided this inspiration by purchasing 100 DePauw University shirts for the students at Ridpath.… Post the First Comment

Recognized student organizations on campus will soon have the option to apply for housing as an entire group through the university's housing lottery. Starting Wednesday, Feb. 10 organizations can apply on the Residence Life and Housing page on DePauw's Web site.… Post the First Comment
