DePauw University will transfer to a different athletic conference. The DePauw acquired an e-mail from a head coach, who will remain unnamed, of one of DePauw's varsity sports programs informing the team of the change. At the city's first ever Sustainable Greencastle Celebration, senior Tim Martin was honored as Greencastle's "Green Citizen of the Year."
