The American Cancer Society's 10th Annual Putnam County Relay For Life is upon us! Our event is a well-known and nationally recognized fundraiser for the Society. The DePauw family has become one of the greatest supporters of the event and your participation makes a difference.
The money raised here this weekend supports the keystone programs and activities of the Society including cancer education and advocacy, research programs, support for patients, their caregivers and survivors. It goes to working towards the goals of improving the quality of life of patients and decreasing incidence and mortality.
I hope you will take the time to come out to Blackstock Stadium sometime during the 24 hours this weekend when the stadium will be abuzz with fun activities and great music as well as important times to honor cancer survivors and remember those we have lost. Even if you have not been personally touched by cancer, coming out this weekend and taking part supports all of those who have and makes a difference in supporting the programs of the Society.
