Cheers for not passing the proposed competency requirements.
Jeers to future DePauw students still not knowing what they will have to do to graduate.
Cheers for the East College bells ringing again. It adds a nice musical note to every hour.
Cheers for Google Apps, but jeers for not waiting on the mandatory switch. Adding confusion two weeks before finals wasn't something any student or faculty member needed.
Tears for all the injuries during Little 5.
Cheers for higher admissions standards and a smaller freshman class. Hopefully this can alleviate some of the cramped quarters found in residence halls and the Hub.
Cheers for Jason Reitman and F. W. de Klerk.
Jeers for charging students for Winter Term three months afterward.
Jeers for Girls Gone Wild. Need we elaborate?
Cheers for lifting the salary freeze and beginning tenure track searches again.
Cheers for the Love Rally and the CLC protest.
Jeers to Public Safety filming fraternity bid night, but cheers to it recognizing the issues associated with the action and destroying the tapes.
Cheers for Tiger athletes once again winning the President's Trophy for overall athletic excellence in the SCAC. We like being able to call ourselves the best.
Cheers for Brad Stevens '99 taking Butler University to the Div. I championship.
Tears for lower greek numbers this year.
Tears for lower retention rates.
Cheers for Relay for Life raising $152,000 dollars.
Tears to Sigma Nu selling its fraternity house and Delta Chi fraternity not being able to live in its.
Tears for Greencastle's Sonic never re-opening this spring.
Cheers for the first female chairman of the Board of Trustees. This is a landmark change that shouldn't be overlooked.
Jeers for the inefficient housing lottery. It needs to become more clear and shouldn't take until three weeks are left to put every student somewhere.
Jeers for Ralphie May's crudeness.
Cheers to campus planning assessing DePauw's physical needs, but jeers to there still not being a website or information up for the public to see.
And finally, cheers to finishing another year, but tears to saying good-bye to all the seniors and faculty leaving.
